Austroads Bridge Awards 2022: Excellence in Innovation

InQuik was honoured to be awarded the top spot for Excellence in Innovation, at the Austroads Bridge Awards 2022. InQuik team members, Mike and Piyush, were in attendance to accept the award off the back of exhibiting at the Austroads conference in Adelaide.
Our submission was based on the Toorale Bridge project, a job near Bourke, NSW, which has 3-spans, with 2 different span lengths (9.1m and 12.1m) and used weathering steel formwork. The project was in an environmentally sensitive and culturally significant region, near the Kurnu-Baakandji Cultural Camp. The weathering steel gives a beautiful reddish-brown finish, blending in well with the rusty dirt.
Thank you to all the team members that had a hand in delivering this project. From the drafters who drew up the design, to the factory team who manufactured the bridge, to Sales and the PMO team for managing the project and customer expectations, and finally Mike who put together the submission for the Austroads Award.
