InQuik was pleased to participate in the Australian Bridge Conference 2017 on 3–6 April 2017 at the Pullman Albert Park, Victoria. With over 350 attendees, ABC 2017 had a great range of national and international delegates who came and spoke with the InQuik team on booth 25.
Our stand quickly became very popular, with a 3D scale model of the InQuik Bridging System a delegate favourite, and a full-size sample fabricated deck truss beam (weighing over 90kg!) on display.
It was great to speak to representatives from MainRoads WA, Vic Roads, Opus, SRG, Cardno, Aurecon and the Kenyan National Construction Authority. The InQuik stand was supported by Ross Bourke from ARC (InQuik’s fabrication partner), and Peter Mahar from InQuik’s North-East NSW sales partner, Bridge Knowledge, was happy to field customer enquiries.
Our engineering partner SMEC also had a large presence at the event, and it was great to have their team spending time on the stand discussing current and future InQuik projects.
The InQuik bridging system is an innovative Australian designed and manufactured product with huge benefits to key LGA projects, including Bridges Renewal, Flood Mitigation and Black Spot programmes for 6–18m bridge spans. The InQuik solution reduces cost and complexity, and accelerates the bridge construction process. This enables Governments, Councils, disaster relief agencies and road authorities to upgrade or construct infrastructure cost-effectively and efficiently.
Australian councils have embraced this new system for its huge potential in opening up new land release areas and replacing aged bridge infrastructure. InQuik manufacturing is based out of Newcastle, NSW, the products are made with Australian steel and certified by SMEC to comply with AS5100 and SM1600 load rating design standards.
