At both the IPWEA Qld and IPWEA NSW events we will be taking outdoor space to display the NEW InQuik CR370 bridge. Developed with Council feedback, the CR370 addresses the need for culvert replacements and small bridges by local councils, farmers and primary producers. This short-span bridge product has been specifically designed with a 370mm deep deck profile for ease of water afflux, and is available in a 6.4m-span with bridge widths ranging from 2.4m up to 14.4m.
The CR370 meets Australian Bridge Code standards AS5100 (2017), is load-rated to SM1600 (160 tonnes) and has a 100-year design life.
Bridges are a much more environmentally friendly water crossing alternative to all types of culverts, as they limit disturbance to the waterway during construction, and they allow unrestricted passage of aquatic fauna. The InQuik CR370 bridge also has a reduced deck profile thickness of 370mm (47% less than the standard 700mm InQuik deck), to allow for better water flow, particularly during flood events.
